Mixed Barley & Black Rice

Organic Mixed Barley and Black Rice will serve as the perfect ingredient in a healthy, balance diet.
Barley is naturally high in protein, fiber, and essential minerals (manganese, selenium, and phosphorus). Barley is a great choice for diabetics because it has the lowest glycemic index of any grain. It also has a different gluten structure than wheat, meaning that some with celiac disease and wheat allergies are able to safely consume barley.

Black Japonica Rice is nutrient-rice and high in health promoting anthocyanin antioxidants, like those found in blueberries and blackberries.

  • Soak overnight (at least 3 hours) before cooking.
  • You can mix these grains with plain white rice because white rice gives a nice smooth texture and stickiness that other grains lack.
